This is the time of year when those crazy beetles fly haphazardly around the garden. They are very easy to catch and it is a natural source of protein for the ladies of the coop. We urban farmers stand in as the leader of the flock, in that they are a bunch of spinsters with no rooster on the grounds, and bring them all kinds of garden treats.
